Fatmir grew up in Malmö, Sweden, as a young immigrant with big dreams and a strong drive to succeed.
When he was diagnosed with an eye disease that eventually led to blindness, his life changed completely. The future he had imagined suddenly disappeared, forcing him to confront questions about identity, purpose, and whether life would ever feel normal again.
Instead of giving up, he chose to rebuild — not only his goals, but also his perspective, mindset, and way of approaching life.
That decision shaped everything that followed.
Today, Fatmir is a successful entrepreneur, Paralympian, speaker, and family man living a grounded and authentic life — with the same ups and downs, challenges, ambitions, and responsibilities that connect us all.
He now lectures for companies, schools, municipalities, conferences, and organizations across the world, helping audiences reflect on leadership, resilience, communication, inclusion, and the ability to adapt through change.
